Fun at Deal’s Orchard

Youth Group had fun at Deal’s Orchard again this year. Many thanks to Jenny Wills and Karen Shannon for leading our youth group. What a great group of kids!

Alpha Retreat

Meaningful Holy Spirit retreat held at Dayton Oaks for Alpha Course. Many thanks to our friends from Church of the Resurrection, Kansas City, for leading us. We learned a lot about the Holy Spirit and had time for prayer, Holy Communion, worship and time to think. A blessed space and a blessed time.

NEW Parents Sunday School Class

Esther Kirby retires

Esther Kirby, financial secretary, retires at the end of September, 2018 after 19 years of dedicated service to First United Methodist Church. Staff-Parish Relations Committee invites you to a reception in her honor on October 7 at 10-10:30 am and at 11:30-noon, before and after worship.
