Esther Kirby retires

Esther Kirby, financial secretary, retires at the end of September, 2018 after 19 years of dedicated service to First United Methodist Church. Staff-Parish Relations Committee invites you to a reception in her honor on October 7 at 10-10:30 am and at 11:30-noon, before and after worship.

Baptism

Celebrating the baptism of babies is an important ritual in the faith life of a family. The church family agrees to help the family rear the child to be a Christian. Call 386-4411 if you are interested in baptism.

LOCK-IN

CAMP SUNDAY SUCCESSFUL

Camp Sunday was a huge success. 12 youth choir teens led worship music, Crazy 4 Christ kids sang for worship, Derek Bergman from Lake Okoboji UM Camp spoke, Crazy 4 Christ kids shared memory verses and led worship. The lunch and pie auction following worship made $3300 for our Camp/Youth Fund. Many thanks to all!
