Congratulations to Hannah

Congratulations to Hannah Curtis who was accepted into the 2019-2020 Simpson Youth Academy. Rev Eric Rucker, Simpson College Chaplain spoke at FUMC in September, 2018 inviting our students to apply. It is a spiritual growth and leadership training event that goes for a year. We are delighted for Hannah and proud of her accomplishments!

Youth Quake 2019

The annual Youth Quake in Des Moines had the theme “Diverge” in 2019. Youth and adults enjoyed the Christian music, speakers and fellowship over the weekend.

Successful Lock-In

19 teens and 8 adults spent overnight at the church and Webb House. Rowdy tug of war, races on scooters, whistles covered with whipped cream and building a chair with 8 pieces of wood and 8 nails were some of the fun activities. 2017 Camp/Youth Sunday

Camp/Youth Sunday was a huge success. Thank you to everyone who donated funds, made pies for the auction and who supported the children/youth program. Because of you children and youth will be able to attend summer church camps and retreats over the next year.

Attend Winter Jam

Celebrate Graduates

Sunday, May 15 we celebrate our high school graduates with breakfast and program at 9 am. They will be introduced in worship at 10:30 am and receive a gift from the church family.
